Krypton

Krypton was my first rolling ball sculpture, combining motion, light, and reclaimed materials into a functional piece of art. The chunks of glass were sourced from runoff created during production of the original green Pepsi bottles at the old Tropicana factory. Each marble takes over a minute to travel a winding path to the bottom, creating a mesmerizing display of movement and sound.
