SIPS

This commissioned piece was created for SIPS, a wine bar in Safety Harbor that opened in 2017. One of the biggest challenges was shaping and grinding the metal so the neck flowed seamlessly into the body.  I finished it off with alcohol ink, which turned out great. Over the years, countless hands have touched the piece, gradually wearing the finish and now giving the bottle an unexpected vintage look. Nearly a decade later, SIPS is still going strong, and so is this sculpture.
